      <image:title>Projects - Solid State Logic</image:title>
<image:caption>The project consisted of the design and construction of a contemporary office and research and development facility for Solid State Logic, a world renowned designer and manufacturer of audio and video recording consoles. The building relies significantly on integration of the lightweight ‘pavilion’ building in its landscape setting, with detailed analysis of building physics to maximise passive environmental control, without recourse to active systems. My role was project director for the environmental and building services design, which required very careful integration of services with structure in order to reduce building height and produce a very efficient building form.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Media Centre Lord’s Cricket Ground</image:title>
<image:caption>The project consisted of the design and construction of an iconic and contemporary new media centre for the home of cricket at Lord’s Cricket Ground for the MCC. The futuristic building provides world class facilities for the media at the venue. The building is constructed principally of aluminium, using highly integrated structure and services, with lighting quality and acoustic control being a significant focus of the design. The building makes reference to boat building techniques in its design and construction, being pre-fabricated in a Cornwall shipyard before being dismantled, transported to London, and reassembled on site. I was project director for the environmental and building services design of the building.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Queen’s Building, Emmanuel College, Cambridge</image:title>
<image:caption>The project consisted of the design and construction of a bespoke new building, providing conference, common room, music, and lecture room facilities for the Master of Emmanuel College. Environmental and acoustic conditions within the building are very tightly controlled, using very high quality interior surface materials chosen to maximise passive environmental control, with plant located efficiently within an adjacent basement. My role was project director for the multi-disciplinary design team.</image:caption>
